The Tournament Surf Basia 2020 boasts a compact body which houses a powerful drive gear. Made in 100% Zaion carbon, meaning the body, side plates and arched rotor are at once light and tough. Unmistakeably this reel occupies the top of the range for surfcasting reels. The powerful Digigear II drive guarantees a straight retrieve without jolts or bumps for your surfcasting rig. This technical gearing system is protected from water and salt by magnetic MagSealed oil. This innovative oil contains nanoparticles of metal which hold it in a stable position, offering the dual benefit of smoothing the rotor action and protecting the body. The Zaion carbon rotor offers an incredibly smooth and comfortable wind: no surprise given its 10 bearings including 7 CRBBs! The size 45 spool is fitted with a spring-loaded HIP line clip and a QD drag, allowing you to switch from baitrunner mode to a tight fighting mode in a single turn of the button.
