On the hunt for big fish with the Daiwa Lexa HSL baitcast multiplier reel

Fishing with multipliers and baitcasting reels is very much in vogue – models with a high line capacity and a small and light reel body have recently been requested especially for easier fishing for catfish, coalfish, halibut and tropical fish such as amberjack, trevalleys, mahi mahi, etc. – the Lexa baitcast reels offer you the right models for exactly these requirements.
The size of the 300 Lexa is almost the same as a normal baitcast reel – but offers the enormous line capacity of 220m/40lbs (approx. 0.23mm) braided line.
The size 400 has a slightly larger housing and is ideal for medium-heavy spin fishing for catfish, halibut and coalfish and, with a line capacity of 220m/0.40mm mono or approx. 350m/0.23mm braided line, is one of the largest baitcast reels on the market. The maximum braking force of the 400 size is an impressive 11kg!

In contrast to these ball bearings with mostly unprotected ball bearing shells, CRBB ball bearings from Daiwa have an extra coating. Fine sand, dust or salt crystals have no chance of penetrating. A long service life is thus guaranteed.
